Was anybody else turned off by what seems to be the scattered editing of Windblown World? There is no table of contents to give sense to the order of the papers within. Here are the contents of each section of WW, in order of the book, using the descriptions from Berg collection as guidance. It seems that what may appear to be scattered texts actually follows Kerouac’s journals page for page (with the exception of the On the Road section). There appears to be some shifting of the journal entries to suit some vague editorial objective. The catalog numbers correspond to Kerouac’s archival arrangement:
